"My dad and I are about to embark on a very special trip to Jordan, our first time back in 12 years. He called me one day, saying, "Habibti, I’m so depressed. Let’s go see the family in Jordan and eat knafeh beneath an olive tree." So now, we’re going! 🌿
This trip is even more meaningful because, seven years ago, my dad was diagnosed with glioblastoma. I never thought we’d get the chance to return together, but now, Alhumdulilah, he's cancer-free and we’re beyond excited to revisit his old stomping grounds and reconnect with family.
To help fund our trip, I’m selling this limited edition riso print, featuring motifs inspired by Tatreez—a centuries-old embroidery practice rooted in resilience and storytelling. 🌸 Each print is 8.5 x 11 inches, printed in three beautiful colors (pink, yellow, turquoise) by my good friend and print pal: @taxonomypress.
